Many people are unaware of the connection between heart health and brain health, which is why we like to say "what's good for your heart is good for your brain."

In this session we'll reinforce the importance of taking care of your general health.  And that includes tracking and knowing your health numbers.

Learning Objectives

When you have completed this session, you will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of taking care of your general health in reducing risk of developing Alzheimer's disease and maintaining quality of life when you have Alzheimer's disease.
  • Discuss why "what is good for your heart is good for your brain!"
  • Identify the types of "numbers to know" for heart and brain health.
  • Identify tools and resources you can use to "know your numbers" and track changes over time.
