Part 3 - Search Bar
Using the Search Bar
Type a question, comment or key word into the search bar and click the big green 'Search' button.
Search Results
By entering a search such as the one used in this example, 'What is alzheimer disease?' you will be presented with a search results page with all the information, education and support that is available to answer this question in the ASANT Cafe. Simply click on the 'Details' or 'Read' button to find out more!
Limit Results by Type
If you would like to look for a particular type of information, education or support such as 'videos' - by simply clicking on the 'Limit Results by Type' button next to the search term you can then 'deselect' all the types you don't want to see by adding a check mark next to them in the 'Hide?' check box!
Didn't find what you were looking for?
Either go back to the search bar itself at the top of the page or click on 'Search Again' at the bottom of the page and enter a different question or search word.
Improving the Search Results
The community has a role to play in assisting the search in identifying the most relevant information, education and support for a member. Don't forget to rate each item that you look at by responding to the 'Please indicate if this item was helpful.' comment in the green bar at the bottom of the page.
Useful Searches!
If you've found something really useful whilst searching that you'd like to save for later or share with others, click on either the 'Save' or 'Share' button at the bottom of the page. Anything saved can be accessed at any point via the 'Saved Items' button on the left hand side of the page.
'Sticky' Search Bar
No matter where you are in the ASANT Cafe the search bar will be right there with you to help you access the information, education and support you need. At any time simply enter a new search....
